I wished it hadn't come to this Pater.
We of the UCR that escaped your clutches, with the help from Aboveworld, were originally going to barricade ourselves in the Caves, and wait out the war.
No longer is that the case.
We will no longer be trodden under fin by you Underworld monsters.
We Crabsnakes will be known as the Underworld Assassins. We will kill every last one of you Underworld monsters.

Well time to immobile the precursor strikers we march for war.
SHOAL forces are to converge down the entrance in a counterclockwise direction to create a whirlpool. The striders will deal With the filth that will come from that place.
Lucky two things went our way, the warpers could rebuild the gun, given enough time and ...
All Precursor bases. You are to engage full lockdown procedures to prevent any more destruction.
312-117. You are to approach the nearest entrance lined with Ion Crystals. You must be cautious for any enemy troops present.
All allied troops are to retreat from all nearby detonation sites.
One more thing...
Thank @PaterAestus for the meal. Redirect all the energy you absorb to the construct and repair drones being sent to the Arrays wreckage. The extra energy should overclock them and allow reconstruction, defensive modifications and fallout cleanup of the construct to complete within 8 hours. The rest of the energy will be used for defensive modifications for other precursor constructs and supercharging the rest of our forces.
Once the crystals have been absorbed, you are to return to the new Array for more orders.
@PaterAestus, the rubble will not slow down, let alone stop him or us. We are Warpers, we warp as we please. Besides, I doubt that you will have any protective rubble to begin with.
This is an announcement from the Prime Minister of the Conglomerate. The Green War is over. The Great War is about to begin.
The Green War was tragic; it surpassed the War of Five Fish in casualties and was taxing to all nations. It is never easy to admit defeat, but sometimes it is necessary to put the losses behind us, and focus on the next battle. In the Green War we lost one of our most prised military assets: the 4th Division. This heroic battalion was headed by the noble General Blue. After a failed mission into the Lava Zone, during the election, just before the Green War, General Blue thought his Division dead, so he abandoned them to find the Conglomerate. The 4th Division saw this as a betrayal, and killed the General when we were locked up by the FMMA, ready to face justice.
General Blue didn't get a chance for life that day.
They allied themselves with the Great Pater; a creature of immense power, down in the Lava Zones. They took the Lost River from those that lived there, and stationed a Dragon and Ion Crystals they gathered from Precursor caches inside the River. They infiltrated caches until there was only one left, in the Dunes.
The Conglomerate armies protected the Dunes Cache from a group of Lava Larva and Lizards and 4th Division soldiers, but we knew that they would be back with more forces.
We brought together armies from all nations, and created the Army of the Aboveworld. Reapers, Reefbacks, Waprers, Biters, and Peepers alike gave their lives to the cause. But they never even got to fight the Empire.
The 4th Division destroyed the Precursor Array, and the FMMA is almost destroyed thanks to this action. The green smoke still rises from the island, and it will smoke for days and days to come. We destroyed the cache.
The Army of the Aboveworld signed up to kill Imperials. Now we're going to go, and we're going to kill Imperials.
Ignore the blood, it's hard getting all these different animals in those positions without attacking each other

Become one with the Antecedents.
Because, if I remember correctly, that is what @phantomfinch experienced. He experienced "Antecedent Madness." He believed he was greater than the Antecedents, and everyone else.
Once Antecedent Madness enters its final stages, the victims will follow the Antecedents without question.
And, the Antecedents are all dead, aren't they?
So it's safe to assume that those inflicted with it, would follow the Antecedents into death.
Because that is most definitely not what happened to this poor fellow.

Precursor Array Investigation Team: Command, we reached the Precursor Array. Construction of a new base of operations on this island is underway, but it will take time for it to be fully operational. There are lots of debris here, along with pieces of PRAWN suits. We are current unable to rescue the bodies of the commanders of the garrison here. Looks like the explosion destroyed the entire team, and the only things that managed to survive are some pieces of equipment. There is a warper team here, probably the one sent by @Enderguy059. We are helping them repair the facility, along with clearing the rubble. There are more bodies inside the facility, so we suspect they fell under heavy assault by the Empire's forces. We will continue to help the warpers, and look for the bodies of our comrades. Below are the pictures of the operation.

Today the construction of the FMMA Citadel was complete. The Citadel, called "Temple of Steel", started as a military fort, but quickly became a form of religious temple by the FMMA forces. Although the loss of our base at the Precursor Array made the FMMA slower when compared to the other forces of the Aboveworld Alliance, the Temple, the first of it's kind, is expected to replenish FMMA armies faster, making our temporary disavantage a thing of the past.
Armies were dispatched to General HAL, and also to allies who need help defending positions of interest. And, we can see one of the officers of the Temple, Father Ryan, giving a speech to the troops
Father Ryan: Everyone here lost friends and loved ones on the war. Some fell holding the line against the Kharaa tide, some fell escorting civilians. Some during the rescue of the UCR POWs from the Empire. And now, the new tragedy. The Empire, cowards that they are, attacked our team of engineers on the Precursor Array. They killed civilians and their guards, as they killed our allies, the warpers, who were minding their own business there. All of them were butchered, and only pieces of torn metal remained.
The caretakers of the facility are nowhere to be found, their bodies still missing under the debri. The Empire made a coward attack against us. They are an evil that needs to be eliminated! Let's go, my brothers and sisters! Let's go on our holy crusade against that demon, and by Anderson, we shall murder each one of those motherless bastards! We shall descend to those caves, and upon the bones of Aestus, the cure for the Carar shall be made with our leader Aurora at charge once again! Charge, my companions! Charge! To the depths of that hell, we shall bring the light of purification by death to those who dwell on those shadows! WITH ME! CHARGE!
And now there it is. A Crusade! We never thought it would be possible!
@PaterAestus, for the destruction of the Precursor Array, killing dozens of civilians and military, for your continued assault against our forces on several bases using mutated beasts, for all the grief you brough upon the Aboveworld, there's no justice that is enough. You shall be executed, whether by our blade, or our allies's.
We are coming, Aestus. We are coming on a terrifying tide of metal that cannot be stopped. We will not only kill your forces. We shall spill their guts, and use them to lubricate our machines and clean our swords. None of them shall escape, for they all shall be murdered by our weaponsby the bunches, and their bodies shall pave our way towards you.
We are coming Aestus. And we recommend you learn to pray now, for when we arrive at your door, you will be too busy dying to do anything else.

You are correct, Aestus. Noble Cleanser could self-destruct should he absorb enough energy, but as a machine, he would not "go mad with power", so to speak. The former of which is why, as I previously mentioned, I had a power tethering device installed into him. All the power he absorbs could be used by him to enhance his or other Agent's personal combat abilities, or by the many facilities that I have had tethering devices installed into.
@Casual_Player, If you wish, I could present you with custom tethering devices which will augment your troops arsenal the more power Noble Cleanser absorbs. I could also give you one to help power the Temple of Steel if you wish.

We would like that, thank you. You are welcome on the Temple of Steel any time.

The assaults are intensifying, wave after wave come upon us as an unending tide of death and destruction. Lava lizards by the hundreds swarm trying to overrun our defenses and breach the lines to get to the above world. We are holding. At this rate we can seal the entrance to the lava zones with their corpses.
There is no question we must do this, for the safety of the above world, for the security of our allies. But... how can I express this? Killing again and again, slaughtering creatures that pose no real threat to us... lava lizards can't break our carapace or deal any harm, the lava on their backs cool too quickly to burn us. They cannot harm us, yet we kill them en masse. I never realized the price of being here would be on my soul. I expected pain and death, but not this. They are little more than target practice. We have taken no casualties and still the killing must go on. There are none short of the dragon and the reaper that pose us a threat. The river prowlers are so vulnerable to light they go blind and are helpless when they near us and we turn them into pincushions, twitching and gasping in confused horror. They're pitiful enough to break my heart and make my stomach wrench.
We know our duty and we will continue to serve with honor. Pater will pay for the suffering he has forced us to inflict.

This is @the_mariner, commander of Phalanx and Bastion. I understand your hesitation, Pike. You're scared. You're lonely. You're worried that maybe freedom just isn't worth it. If it were up to me, I wouldn't want anyone fighting this war. But it's not up to me. This war began, and now we've got to finish it.
If you ever feel lost, just think about your friends and family back home. Remember that we fight for their freedom, so that your children don't grow up at the mercy of an angry god. Remember that we fight for our comrades, so that they may do the same for their kin. I know it's not much, but it's the best I can do.
Keep fighting the good fight out there, Pike. And when you come home and lay down your weapons, remember that this is what you fought for.
May the tides grant you safe passage, and good luck.

You kill hundreds, and you blame me.
You commit a genocide, and blame me for your own conscience.
Your audacity is only matched by your idiocy.
You've forced my fin, I must take actions.
Had you stayed with your previous statements of peace, I wouldn't have had to do this.
Judgement for hypocrisy is inevitable.
Sea Dragon, take the nearest Reefback leader into deep ILZ.
Beat it, torture it.
Kill it.
And relish in watching its life force sink.
Let this show you that in taking on one Underworld species, you take on every Underworld species.
Do not let it happen again, or there will be even greater consequences.

ENOUGH.
There will be NO mercy for you after this. Not a SINGLE drop.
You talk of peace, yet you preach madness. You brought war to our doorstep for the actions of a few, then claim we struck against you. You conscript unwilling creatures into your army, then claim we killed them.
All you had to do was speak to us. We could have told you that the Shoal had stolen your eggs under the leadership of a madman. We could have told you we were only taking your Sea Dragon in order to find a cure for the Carar.
We WILL return this favor. We will slaughter every last one of your precious Unheard and your prized Fourth Division. We will bring their heads to your castle as we raze it to the ground. You will be taken into custody by the FMMA. They will drain your blood and rip out your organs in order to cure the Carar.
Except they won't kill you then.
We will keep you alive. Every fiber of your body will wish to die, yet your heart will still beat. You will howl and beg for death, you will watch as your empire burns, as your citizens desert you and as your very name becomes ash.
You will know how it feels to have the world fall around you.
Only then will you cease to exist.
And when that day comes, I will be the last thing you see.
The Lost River was lacking Ion; it had all been used. The Precursor Array was now gone, and the Green War won. Armies floated in the Bone's Field, Lord Sketh sitting atop the great skull there.
Lord Sketh: Haha! The Green War is won, boys! We destroyed that damned array and finally put an end to the Aboveworld's maticulous scheming! FOR THE PATER!!!
4th Division: FOR THE PATER!!!
Lord Sketh: You know, these celebrations are making me weary. What time do you suppose we'll be launching the attack against the Conglomerate, it won't be long before they're gone...
Commander Greenwald: Um... M-mi Lord?
Lord Sketh: Everyone, to your stations! Prepare for attack! Man the entrances and don't let any more in!
Commander Greenwald: They're already in, mi Lord!
Lord Sketh: Dammit, we were to busy celebrating to even worry about what was happening right before us! Commander?
Commander Greenwald: There are too many, mi Lord! Argh!
Lord Sketh: Kill that Reaper! Kill it, it's getting too close! KILL IT! KILL IT NOW! NOW! NO!!!
So, who technically won the Green War [the Conglomerate vs 4th Division side, I mean]... One of life's great mysteries...

We will slaughter every last one of your your precious Unheard and your prized Fourth Division.
All leaders and commanders are welcome to accompany the procedings. Everything shall be recorded during the vivisection. Our Crusade shall erase the Empire from the pages of History.
And @Enderguy059, we just implemented your upgrades on our forces. It increased their efficiency tremendously.Thank you.
As a side note, with the PH upgrades, our foot soldiers (not the PRAWN battalions) strangely resembles this character from an enterteiment source for the humans from long ago, really weird.

I said I was done toying with Aboveworld, and I mean it.
But to take on all of Aboveworld, we need more reinforcements.
It is time.
Creatures of the Aryan Flora area, it is time to honor your agreements that we made.
For helping me, you will receive total control of Aboveworld.
I await your answers
This is General Silverwing of the Mesmers, we accept your offer. We turned the tide of the war, yet we were shunned. We will make sure that these actions will be repaid in more than full. The SAHP will join the Underworld forces.
This is General Spark of the Ampeels. We have been totally ignored, despite the many improvements we have offered for Aboveworld. While we don't have any harsh feelings to many of the Aboveworld creatures, we are going to improve Aboveworld, even if we are the only ones left. And Pater is the only one who can make that dream a reality.
This is Geneal Ossein of the Bonesharks. We have been pushed out of too many biomes, the Grassy Plateaus, the Jellyshroom caves, and the Grand Reef. And on top of all of this, we have received no respect, let alone representation. I speak for all Bonesharks when I say that we are tired of such actions. While I think it is degrading to our species to be under such a being as Pater, it is better than our current situation.
Very good. All new units should report to the ILZ as fast as you can swim. The rest of Aboveworld will be enraged with your factions.

You come with the intention of mass genocide and then level charges of genocide against those charged with defense? You cannot charge another with the intent to murder and then blame your near victim for fighting back. I forced you? Until you started your killing spree we were a purely defensive force. If you had wanted peace you would have put down your arms! The only one prolonging war here is you. The aboveworld wars have been over for some time now, the only one still beligerent is yourself. You prolong this conflict. We desire peace above anything else, but mass extinction at the hands of a delusional egomaniac is not a peace that can be tolerated.
Commander Arlion initiating protocol 82 at the urging of local crashfish commander. I hoped to see peace but alas, I give my life so that others may see it.
Protocol 82, all surviving crashfish hide in the various orifices in the host reefback. In a single moment Commander Arlion rams the sea dragon and all crashfish eject from their hiding places and attack in a single coordinated blast with 100% casualties. Commander Arlion is dead and the sea dragon has been ripped fin from fin, blinded and blasted apart in such a concentrated detonation that the world hasn't seen since the Aurora incident. There is nothing left of it but bits of bone.
A moment of silence for Commander Arlion and the many crashfish who have just fallen.
An urgent message to both the boneshark and to the ampeel,
It is my deepest regret that the war has taken the greater part of our attention and we have been unable to allocate the necessary resources to set up the representative body proper. Both of your species are incredibly important in the balance of your respective ecosystems and are valued members of our nation. The EPCA values your representation and will accept any representative of your people that is elected by your people. You need not be an official representative to voice your concerns, my office has an open door policy for any and all.
You do not have to stoop to Pater or bow before any self-appointed emperor or be subject to his murderous whims. It does not have to be this way. We are here with you. We are in the trenches fighting for your sake, dying for your sake, and suffering the horrors of war for your sake. Commander Arlion was a dear friend of mine, our resident crash fish schooled together and shared everything once, but now they have all sacrificed themselves for us, for you, in order to keep this war far from your families, friends and communities. We ask you to rise with us, stand tall as members of the free peoples and to fight back against this tyranny. We have the strength to fight back the horde. Together we can end the bloodshed and return to peace.
As members we can guarantee representation and full participation in government, access to financial, environmental, and military aid, education and a host of other benefits. Please reconsider your move.
Deepest regards,
President Ralij
Internal Memo: All staff not coordinating war efforts get on creating the Senate and setting up elections for each species loyal to the nation. Yes, that includes you Jimmy, you've been at the coffee machine for an hour now, get back to work.
Combat teams: Sierra-through-Victor. I want you to head to the Koosh Zone in order to work out a peace treaty with the inhabitants, I myself will personally join you. @ResolutionBlaze, @Ralij, @phantomfinch, @Casual_Player and @Jamezorg. As a gesture of peace, I wish for your audience at this treaty meeting, as either yourselves or a representative.
Don't worry. At the slightest sign of attack or attempted hypnosis, my Agents will warp us out quickly. As machines, they cannot be hypnotized, so you should have no worries in them failing their duty.
I send my condolences to those who lost their lives and/or loved ones to the Blackwater platoon's ambush. I regret sending more Warpers to ensure their survival. The Empire believes that they wiped out the forces completely, but we cannot rely on overconfidence for this entire war.
Comments
We of the UCR that escaped your clutches, with the help from Aboveworld, were originally going to barricade ourselves in the Caves, and wait out the war.
No longer is that the case.
We will no longer be trodden under fin by you Underworld monsters.
We Crabsnakes will be known as the Underworld Assassins. We will kill every last one of you Underworld monsters.
We will not rest until your blood fills the air.
Anyone who gets in our way, will pay.
Falcor, New General of the UA.
You... You!! YOU!!!
THAT IS IT!!!!
Thankfully, news has arrived from the Agent Fabrication Facility.
Project: Lone Wolf has been completed.
Your day of reckoning has come, Pater. I will ensure that your forces will know the true meaning of fear once "he" strikes, unseen and untraceable.
SHOAL forces are to converge down the entrance in a counterclockwise direction to create a whirlpool. The striders will deal With the filth that will come from that place.
Lucky two things went our way, the warpers could rebuild the gun, given enough time and ...
50 61 74 65 72 20 79 6f 75 20 66 6f 6f 6c 20 6e 6f 77 20 74 68 65 72 65 5c 27 73 20 6e 6f 74 68 69 6e 67 20 74 6f 20 73 74 6f 70 20 61 75 72 6f 72 61 73 20 66 72 69 65 6e 64 73 20 70 6f 70 70 69 6e 67 20 69 6e 20 66 6f 72 20 61 20 76 69 73 69 74 2e
Now Underworld Armies, the Aboveworld fools will be upon us in one sun.
They will be seeking revenge.
They will not receive it.
There also seems to be a, mechanical trend.
There is only one solution.
All Lava Larva, return from hiding, conglomerate near the entrances.
4th division troops, you shall be over the Larva. Use your EMP with extreme prejudice.
And one last thing.
The blasted Antecedent base that is directly below us, seems to be mounting an attack.
We will stop it.
Sketh, have your troops line what ion crystals you have left in the Lost River, around the entrances, and detonate them.
From what the Warpers say about "Project: Lone Wolf," it seems that it will be quite formidable.
The rubble around the entrances from the ALZ won't stop the Lone Wolf, but it will slow it down.
And the second the rubble even trembles, I will melt everything in it personally.
@Enderguy059 Your mortal hubris is what led to the destruction of the Antecedents Gun. Are you willing to make the same mistake twice?
We will detonate on the slightest disturbance.
312-117. You are to approach the nearest entrance lined with Ion Crystals. You must be cautious for any enemy troops present.
All allied troops are to retreat from all nearby detonation sites.
One more thing...
HELL. YES. This is what you were born for. Now are we going to hide like cowards, or are we going to FIGHT?!
Let's ruin some Imperials' day.
Yes, absorb the crystals.
Nah this looks like the Warper Production Facility. Nice try though.
I understand.
Denial is a great way to tolerate such times.
Pater why do you despise the technology that's has been keeping you alive for the past few millennia, you keep saying that we're delusional about the technology but it's that technolgy that is also keeping you ageless.
You should not Bite the hand that feeds you emperor.
If your theory was correct, the moment the Antecedents were killed, I would have died.
Someone would have to maintain the technology that is "keeping me alive."
And it was not the Warpers who maintained it. Once the Antecedents were wiped out, the Warpers were slow in the cerebral area.
I live of my own accord. No being can control that.
The mutants stand no chance.
(Incase anyone diddnt get the reference. Look up life of boris or s.t.a.l.k.e.r shadow of Chernobyl.
FMMA High Council
Why has this suddenly become religious
FMMA High Council

NOW! NO!!!

Truth and you must not be acquainted.
There were many survivors, most of the 4th division still lives. I cannot say the same for Sketh. But he served his purpose, and served it well.
Their cowardice finally found a use, they ran at the first sight of danger.
And this "Blackwater" group are fools.
Anyone with a mind could see that this was a trap.
All ambush units, converge on the attackers position!
3 Hours Later
Sea Dragon Xiuhcoatl: My lord, it is done. We caught them so off guard that they didn't have time to react. The Blackwater group is dead. Completely.
Xiuhcoatl: As proof to his highness, the results of some of the attackers.
Xiuhcoatl: If this is how every Aboveworld army fares, the war will be over in just a few suns.
