If You Haven't Played Much With The Aliens...

<div class="IPBDescription">Please don't go gorge...</div> I know that it is counterintuitive for you NOT to be the "helper and builder" when you're new to a particular team. Heck, when I first started playing aliens, I too thought I would help my team best by staying off the front lines and kind of making buildings in the back. But seriously, it hurts your team if you go gorge and you don't spend your ressources/spend your ressources on the wrong buildings/put the wrong buildings in the wrong places.

Again, get a feel for what the aliens need to do to win a game against a good marine team. As an alien player, I would appreciate it. Even better, try to join a relatively empty server where there aren't enough players to play a serious game and mess around with the gorge to see what you can do with it. That way you'll be better prepared to be the gorge when your time comes. Also, when you finally go gorge, make sure you go gorge on the map you've memorized best. It's really important to know which ressouce nozzles are relatively safe to take early on and which aren't. One gorge can make or break an alien team.

Thanks, and have fun.

Yes, But they have to start somewhere. Oh well, they should play as a skulk before they move on to other evolves. For their sake and others. The same could be said about marine commanders, let them know if your a newb, if they say its ok, then you can try your luck. But people, try to not ruin the game experiences of others, even if its in an indirect-good means manner.

Yes. They do have to start somewhere. My post gave a couple of suggestions on where they could start from.
