So true. Sorry to tell you buddy but the devs have been clear about no multiplayer for a long time. Maybe in the future when the full game is out and people make their own mods but at this time the game is an ever changing beast. The truth is the game isn't stable enough for multiplayer because of its ever changing nature due to it's constant improvement and tweaking. Some games can't handle multiplayer very well and fan made mods for multiplayer can cause its own problems. A good example of this is Kerbal space program multiplayer mod that functions but has a high rate of crashing/freezing/super lag and that would take the fun out of Subnautica.

I believe the devs made a smart decision to keep multiplayer out of the game because it would split up R&D into two groups. One for making the single player game work then another for multiplayer and the bugs it creates.

Pop goes the dream bubble. Because all your asking for is subpar co-op version of subnautic so just let the devs make an awesome single player game.

I know some of this may sound negative but I love this game so much and want the devs to continue being awesome for us the fans.
