The problem of the mobility of floating objects

Due to the size of the mobile vehicle bay, I seriously think it needs a beacon as it is extremely easy to lose, and I would not want to have to build another just cause I lost the first.
As for the lifepod, its mobility isn't really a problem as such, it's just a little bit anoying for me, I'd like it to always be in the biome it started in. Some disagree with me, so I've got a solution: the ability to build anchors. Those who like the lifepod to move a bit aren't forced to build some if they don't want to, and those who like immobility can build a couple of anchors to immobilize the lifepod.
Whaddya think?

So the Prawn and the cyclops are only aviable if the player has a moon pool.
What, really? I didn't know that, and I even think that that's wrong because if you see Markiplier's latest episode of the game, his lifepod may be fixed, but it still moves.
