OFFLINE PLAYABILITY? >>DEVS<<

So this game cant be played offline. The start menu doesnt load. Whats up with that? Ive seen where other people have posted about this issue and so far the devs havent made any comment on this issue. I know there are more pressing issues that need to be addressed (i.e Horrendous Framerate) but this is a pretty big issue for some people as well. This needs to be addressed. Devs?

    I just tested this out myself, since A LOT of complaints I see on here are greatly exaggerated...but you are correct.

    Just tried booting it up offline and it stays at the screen where you would normally press start (Image of you, your life pod, and the Aurora) and never changes. I tested it for 10 minutes and nothing.

    Devs if it helps I am playing off an external hard drive with the newest update applied. In terms of save files only one of my 3 has been updated (even though I can't access anything offline as mentioned above.) If you need any more info to help ask away.

    Fortunately it would be a rare situation that I don't have internet access, but sometimes I just like to go offline and get lost in games. I'm sure it will be fixed soon enough.

    Will it load if you set Steam to offline mode?

    I can confirm I was able to reproduce this issue, and will follow up on my end to see what we can do.
