-Scanner room should double as a area map / world map over view
-New Map shouldn't fill in without doing a lot of scanning, or using the mobile cameras or sea craft that have a sonar imaging upgrade, or placing mobile sonar beacons.
-Upgrade for the Scanner room could come off upper half of the Aurrora for coms or perhaps as debris from the Sunbeam
-A extra gadget slot on the players inventory for using more than one gadget (something that becomes available through making a better dive suit) Gadgets being the thermometer / compass / hud upgrades.. etc
-A walk-way or platform that fits the curvature of the Multipurpose room for building on land/above the water. it'd be nice to step outside without getting dropped into the water
-Extension for the walk-way that creates stairs so that getting to the top of the multipurpose room isn't an over involved feat of acrobatics and terraforming.
-Strafing / Side to side movement for the Cyclops so that turning around isn't as much a cumbersome endeavor
-it'd be neat if Floodlights acted as a sea-life deterrent at night / in the darker spaces, if they don't already.
-A larger floating storage unit or.. a tow-able upgrade for the lifepods for connecting to the sea-moth / Cyclops

Just a list of stuff I thought would be cool / helpful / handy while exploring the mysterious reaches of the sea that is Subnautica.
