Picture frame on windows can't be constructed, the placeholder just stays there unable to be deconstructed as if you were to construct something without having any materials for it.
I have a feeling it is related to the new build system, as it changed the way boundaries worked when placing objects near one another. However the only answer I can offer for now is just do not do it. I have yet to be able to fix it after I found this out the hard way lol. Sort of lame as I usually put .JPG artwork in my screenshot folder for a little culture in my seabase.
yes this happened to and it turned out i had no battery in my habitat constructor so you might wanna try that first
Don't be daft. I have a Multipurpose room that I cannot decommission because I cant remove a picture frame on a reinforced wall. No, the wall cannot be removed also, because I have to remove the picture frame first...
This is a new bug, yeah. You also can't take posters that are stuck on windows. A similar bug happens when trying to construct a medkit fabricator on a reinforced wall. You can't construct or deconstruct the fabricator, then you can't deconstruct the reinforcement or the room it's in.
@devlinv1 On the bright side, posters will allow you to deconstruct the window so you can at least remove the structure. This other bug is, well, bugging me.
A debug command that could remove an item/building that you cannot deconstruct would be beneficial at this point until said bugs could be fixed. Another thing is being able to despawn a particular creature.. I have a reefback for example that is stuck between my base and the kelp forest.
