Multiplayer in Subnautica?

It would be really cool if there was a kind of multiplayer mode where you could create your own server and explore the world of Subnautica with friends. Would be really nice.

Sorry if we seem pretty kneejerk, especially since yeah, you DID just join... It's just that this is probably THE most frequent question that gets asked, it's been addressed more times than anybody sane would keep track of, and there's a sticky in this very forum that discusses Co-op and Multiplayer in the game. Like, right there near the top.

So from your perspective it's a sincere hope that let's be honest, most everyone who's played the game has had... But for us it's "Oh geeze this question again"

It's alright, this kind of topic pops up ALL the time. Just search "multiplayer" in either gen. disc. or ideas + suggestions and you'll see how long people have been talking about this. Complementary awesome on your first post, by the way.

Honestly I am not too bothered with the lack of multiplayer. It seems that these days we have loads of multiplayer options and a decent single player game with narrative is a rare thing, which I appreciate greatly.

No kids telling me about my mother and I can drop in and out at will and most importantly.. PAUSE the game!

@william1134 I grew up with single player games, RPG mostly, and that's how I prefer to play. I hardly ever play MP as there is just too much salt
