1. Be looking for Moonpool fragments in Bloodkelp Forest SW of Mountain Isle. Think I saw a fragment of something, but I checked to make sure it was safe to get out of my Seamoth. Nope, Crabsquid to the right coming straight at me. CRAP, this thing fires an EMP? Gotta get out of here, like right now. Please move Seamoth! MOVE! Good gracious, screw those squids.
2. Go to the abandoned base in the Deep Grand Reef. After obtaining the PDAs I noticed Crabsquids were having their way with my Seamoth. Oh come on, I just put in a Pressure Compensator MK3 a few minutes ago! These things better not destroy it, or I am screwed! Ok, got in the Seamoth, now to find. OH CRAP WARPER WARPED ME OUT OF THE VEHICLE. It's fine, I needed to repair it anyway, since it's low on health. But damn if those squids come around here while repairing. To top it off, I almost got lost trying to find my way out. Found entrance to the Lava zone while lost, but my Seamoth can't go that far down.
3. Exploring SW of Mountain Isle again, looking for the entrance for the Lost River. Thinking I found it, I quickly got out and placed a beacon. But then I got turned around when I went back in to my Seamoth, but now I am not so sure the place I thought was the entrance to the Lost River is the actual entrance, and now the Crabsquids are coming around. Seriously, whomever created this particular piece of nightmare fuel needs a raise. These things create intense fun moments, even if they invoke fear in me.
I love this game, I didn't know I had a fear of sea monsters, but it seems I do now!
But @ OP, yes good show. That would be intense, but at the same time, it's funny (in hindsight) to see a Reaper coming straight at you.
That was a Jellyray egg, but most impressive save, none the less.
But it was that Reaper's FAVORITE jellyray egg!
Also if you squint into the distance you can see the still-burning remains of the last time someone brought up having personal firearms in the game.

Yeah, that's what some one else said. I was hoping for it to be a Leviathan egg... But sounds like those don't exist
