Scanner room crash - Crashing when exiting camera drone.

So I've had two crashes now, each when I leave the drone camera in the scanner room. QUESTION: Does moving the drones out farther make the scanner scan farther? If not then this bug isn't a problem.

    Drones have no effect on scanner range, they are just for exploration without having to swim yourself. I haven't found them very useful, but a planned update may add a beacon feature to them.
