Better alien containment?

I find it pretty sad that baby crabsnakes inside the aquarium cannot enter a planted jellyshroom to make it more special. I normally make alot of containers with a different biome themes but I feel like you can't achieve that perfectly. Something I would love to have is a ''change biome water'' function to make the water purple ish or green ish like a kelp forest. Another thing I thought would be cool is a giant square room with a big aquarium to place there to hold more fishes but more importantly more flora! Multiple jellyshroom with some redwort would be beautiful! Just a thought though what do you guys think? p.s sorry if my english isn't good, it isn't my native language sorry.

I like the idea of having more flora for sure
Possibly a standalone aquarium room that can house an aquarium 2 or 4 times the size of the alien containment would be dope

To expand on your lighting idea perhaps adding lights with an rgb slider that you can make any color you want would be cool too

And of course the air for crabs names to use the shrooms would be very cool

I have seen someone used it as faster "ladder"

I like how everything in the alien containment unit dies eventually, and you have to dump their bodies outside.

That only happens when you overpopulate the tank. To add to max population, stack more tanks on top or below (inside stacked multipurpose rooms).

Odd, I've never had that. I've overpopulated a tank, and when I come back there is the right amount automatically. Never had a animal die.

Max pop is 10 fish per tank, at least according to the wiki. I've seen dead fish in YT streamers' vids before.

I think the easiest way around would be only to be able to change the tank's default biome to a previously explored one and have more slots for plants. The devs aren't putting that much effort in extending things that are already ingame (like, if there is one aquarium, there will be only one, same with the tank), so by only modifying those aspects, it would be easily implemented.
