Glowing crawdads in subnautica

Has anybody else found those glowing crawdads in subnautica cuz I found two so far in the same spot one after I killed the other and I can't scan them so I'm wondering if they are an Easter egg

Those are called rock grubs. So far, they are the smallest animal in subnautica, and I don't think there's any way to grow them.

They pretty much are. Kinda cute little buggers, I was dissapointed that I could not catch them.

I know I was thinking maybe it was edible and therefore could be caught and put in the alien containment

I was thinking that it should restore more hunger then the Reynold and should be best-tasting thing in the game seeing as how it's kind of like subnauticas own little lobster...GET ME THE BUTTER!!!!!!

Far as I remember these guys along with the rockpuncher thingy are on the chopping block. From what I read they're the baby version of rockpuncher.

that is because they never added it to the game. They've made the model for the creature but since they removed terraforming from the game the guy is on the chopping block/development on hold.

it might be added in the future or it might be cut from the game. We won't know until the developers decide.

Thank you very much for the link and the info I appreciate it I've been also wondering why the precursor gun hasn't been showing up on my game like I'm at the island but the gun isn't PS that's the Island that I've been having a warper warp onto also I'm playing on Xbox one so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it
