Hi i have started to experience lag which leads to a crash , it first happened near creepvine. But since then it happened elsewhere.
only way to somehow control it is to when it starts lagging to slow down and don't touch anything on a keyboard for 2-3 seconds.
But it became really unbearable in mushroom biome.
I'll post 2 error logs i received upon crash.

First error and output log:

You could try clearing your cache to see if it helps until they fix this. See the first line of my signature below ▼

This sounds very similar to the issue I'm seeing here. Intense lag, followed by a crash. I can get it to occur 100% with a specific Creepvine area, and the large Mushroom biome produced a similar result (I just started avoiding it).

    Don't worry I do have a work around to this. I have gathered a lot of information on this bug and know how to fix it for ANYONE. Let's take a look;

    What is this error?

This error is a pain in the ass. It not only causes EXTREME lag, it ends in a crash EVERY time. If your bug does NOT end in a crash, then this bug is not the same as yours.

    What causes this error?

This error is caused by trying to load a certain section of the map. Usually a crash site triggers this lag, and it is intensified by cluster areas like the Mushroom Biome, and Creep-vines.

How can I fix this error?

Fixing it, is a bit.. well tedious. But I assure you it can be fixed WITHOUT editing any gaming files. To fix this error, you will need to save your game the moment you notice the bug being triggered. Once saved, force yourself to move away from the section of the map that triggers the event. I know you are lagging super hard, so moving is a pain, but its an important part to the fix.

Now you are going to crash, so load up that save and continue to move away. At first you will be back to normal FPS but almost instantly you will go back to horrible FPS. Move away and SAVE again BEFORE you crash. Then continue moving away until you crash. Repeat this process until you are able to reload your save with no lag and no crashing. This usually takes 1-3 times before it solves the issue.

Can I avoid this Bug in the future?

Yes you can, but it involves noting where the event was triggered. If you know what part of the map causes the lag followed by crash, then you can STAY away from it. Do NOT go close enough to trigger the event again. Keep in mind areas that intensify the lag are NOT the areas CAUSING the bug to be triggered. My map has ONE crash site that triggers this event, the rest of the map is fine to explore. Some of you may have more.

    Conclusion!

Its a pain in the ass I know, but until they fix it, this is the ONLY way I know how to fix it. Other users have reported editing gaming files or even restarting their save for it to fix, however this method does NOT require you to edit or download anything and with some work, can be done from in game.

Unfortunately that will not solve this issue.

    Thank you for help :)
My solution is that when it starts to lag and not respond i just wait a little and then slowly distance myself away from laggy areas.
That way i don't crash at least.

Your bug is different then. There is no not crashing. The bug I posted for is guaranteed to end in your game crashing. Im glad you were able to fix it.

Clearing the cache helped me. I had a similiar issue.

I wouldn't throw clearing your cache out the window entirely. It is at least worth a try. I've had crashing problems be fixed by doing this plenty. One other thing to note about increased FPS dropping over time, it is related to items you pick up from the environment as well. Numerous people have claimed you can avoid the issue all together if you spawn the needed resources to your inventory. Yes it is cheaty, however if you feel like being meticulous enough, you can just 'pretend' you are picking up those items when found.
