Hey there,

I have the problem that in some areas in which I could play totally fluently at the beginning (MAX quality) after 10-12 hours the game beginns to stutter like hell.
Sometimes it took minutes to just load the area (no joke, one time it took 3 minutes, few times it crashed completely).

As I found out the environment/items begin(s) to double after some hours of playing (maybe because of saving/reloading). One time while exploring a wreck I had to cut through a door. I had to cut this door 7(!!) times, because it was doubled 7x. Also many fragments were stacked 3 in one place, so i had to scan and scan and scan... The same happened to mushrooms etc. I could pick them up twice and more.

Thankfully I found this post here about "stuttering after some time" and followed the steps posted there (deleting the batch files in the save-folder). After doing so the game runs fluently again, no more stacked items and everything's fine. But I guess I will have to repeat this step in a few hours.

Just as a side note:
At the beginning it even happened sometimes, that my lifepod was doubled (not stacked, distance about 100m). After reloading one of the pods disappeared.
Nowadays my life pod jumped 3km far away from my base... :/

There's a batch file in my signature that should make it a bit easier to clear your cache (if you don't have to skip any batch files when clearing, you can safely ignore the part about putting copies of your base batch into a \bases\ folder).
