Map glitches (missing wrecks, etc) persist on new game, deleting the SavedGames folder seems to help

After spending 10+ hours in a new game on Stable, I ran into the missing wrecks bug. Clearing cache did not do the trick this time, so I switched to Experimental after reading the following on Changes and Checkins at Subnautica backend:

"Fixed duplicating wrecks issue.
Marked all explorable wrecks unique to clean up saved games.
Prevent play mode when FMOD fails.
Added reporting to assertions.
Added propulsion cannon debug cheat."

So I switched to Experimental, (not sure about the exact version though) loaded up my previous game, saved, exited the game, cleared cache again. Wrecks still missing.

Starting up a new game from scratch, I played as usual until receiving the distress call from Lifepod #6, which turned out to be missing as well. Then I went and deleted the entire SavedGames folder under steamapps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData, and after starting a new game, wrecks and lifepods now appear where they are supposed to.

This is intriguing, I think. Does it mean that saved games are somehow affecting each other?

You wouldn't think they would, but this makes one wonder. O.o

You know, I had a drastic drop off in the number of wonky wrecks after I cleaned up my savegames (I kept creating new ones with new builds...) That could have been coincidental with the fix, but I'll keep an eye on it. If it starts happening again, I'll do another purge and double-check.

Side note: I'm on experimental, which updates at least 2x a day (usually). I do a cache clear on all of my saves using my batch file every time there's an update over 50MB in size (sometimes more often, sometimes less).

So, as far as having issues, I *usuually* don't, but I never give it a chance to cause issues. Hopefully soon, they'll find the bug/s (probably Cthulhu's tentacles are all wound up in the Unity Engine) and cache clearing can be done away with.
