No Gun or Moonpool Base

I've been playing this game for a few months and have never gotten seen the gun or moonpool base. There is missing land where they are supposed to be according to my youngest son, the avid YouTube watcher. I've had multiple starts in all modes and nothing. (Also, in case I have this under the wrong heading, I'm on Xbox One.) I've read through as many posts as I could to find something about it to no avail. Pleas help?

XB1S; These features have not been implemented yet for XBOX. I have been playing this since Nov 2016, there have been only 2 updates (I think) the last Jan 3rd 2017 (Bones). Still, lots to explore and wrecks to dive. Have fun.

Next update is supposed to be 2-in-1 (Precursor update + Castles & Coffee update).

If you are after just the moonpool without having to find and scan the base, the blueprints are around, after a GRAND tour along the REEF with a bit of SEA TREADing along a PATH. As for the gun I've been to the area where it should and like you said it not there.

I've found the fragments for nearly everything. I was just disappointed to not get some story line rolling. My kid is upset that he's been playing for months and still not gotten the Prawn or Cyclops. I've gotten 4 working bases, two with moonpools.

XB1S; Cyclops and PRAWN Fragments

Cyclops;

Bridge and Hull Frags,

I alway find these (all 6) on the south wall of Tree Shroom Forest off the Aurora (Big A) Port Foward Quarter.

Engine Frags;

I always find the last 3 Frags of the Cyclops on the Mountan Island slope below the beach.
Frags for the Renforced Dive Suit are found nearby.

PRAWN;

The hulls (all 4) are in the Aurora.

Drill Arm Frags;

Found in the Lifepod 17? Wreck behind a hatch using the Repair Tool.

A PRAWN Hull Frag 'could' be found here (only 3 more needed in the Big A)

Push/Pull Cannon Arm Frags;
Found in the Wreck found near the West Lost River Entrance.

Grappling Arm Frags; Sorry, can't remember. Wreck (Moonpool) near the Final Degasi UW entrance?

I was wondering the same thing.I was suddenly lagging on day and on my way to the island it showed the gun trying to load it in,and the cheats for it still go in....strange....
