Story: Exit Aurora with Exosuit

When you visit Aurora after it has crashed you find damaged but functional PRAWN Suit along with scannable ones from PRAWN bay. This Suit has suffered damage during fall so player is unable to repair Suit completely but even with severe damage it helps player to escape bay. This PRAWN suit designed to mine Asteroids etc will prove useful to escape Aurora but after you get outside, a Reaper attacks and as safety function PRAWN Suit ejects player out of it while Reaper grabs Suit into depths below.

What benefits i see with this:
- Player gets more immerse feeling to Aurora wreck as player finds and scavenges what s/he finds from within and by this version of story PRAWN Suit would be first Vehicle player has access to.
- Reapers have escaped area around Auroras crash site and some have hidden inside tunnel below Crash Site. During escape with PRAWN bravest one attacks player. After this Reapers will return and patrol their usual areas.
What negative sides and questions i see:
- Aurora would need more view on Layout on ship, having way from PRAWN Bay to outside will need to have some kind of hallway containing other things that player might not have access to, but could be cool to see some vehicles that wouldn't make it into game.
- As for story, what would prevent player from escaping way they got into PRAWN Bay, new explosion, collapse? And what about if player needs to return to Aurora to pick something they forgot?
- Way to prevent player from keeping PRAWN Suit, as them finding way to prevent Reaper from grabbing it. Player would need to feel the power of suit but then find that even power you hold does not match to creatures of this planet.
- Is the way player creates with Astro PRAWN Suit available after escape?
And finally, does player feel good about this? Will they feel more immerse if there is Event that Happens, where they are unable to prevent it. Will these kind of ideas require their own Story focused Play mode as Survival, Freedom and Hardcore do?
While i do question my own ideas, i however find good to share them.

Am I missing something here? Because it sounds like "redesign the Aurora interiors so you can drive a PRAWN around inside the ship (which the ship probably never supported even before it crashed), but you won't be allowed to keep that PRAWN once you leave. So redesigning the ship map for...no net change in the game except stomping around in a shipwreck with a PRAWN?
That's an awful lot of work for zero benefit...
