You know how long it takes to kill a hive? Aliens could easily get back and take em, unless the marines sent everyone... But then the aliens could just rush to the marine base and kill it before the rines could get back... Nice plan in theory but too many bugs...

This should be in one of the strat boards or general discussion.

This <b>is</b> a valid tactic. A concentrated marine rush with good commander support <b>can</b> destroy the aliens' hive in the initial stage of the game. The solution? Either don't let the marines out of their spawn, or ambush their attack force en route to the hive.
