I really love the idea, artwork, and style of this game but I can't play it. Tried everything in the troubleshooting guide but no joy. :'(

I hope something in the output logs will help!

After Infected Update, Subnautica still crashes on start up. I did perform a clean install.

Is this a new save, or an old one? If it's an old one, try clearing your cache, see the first line of my signature below ▼ (you can also upload your saved game folder as mentioned there, it might help a bit in figuring out why this is happening to begin with).

The crashing occurs with a complete clean install; there is no previously saved game.

Also I never see the main menu.

No unfortunately I have not. Nvidia just release 378.78 today and I installed it and tried again but still no luck.

    DirectX Diagnostics 3/10: http://pastebin.com/x7MzQRUB

Stable - 3840x2160 Desktop Res, DirectX 11, NVidia 378.78 => Black Screen, No Menu, Process Stopped - Output Log: http://pastebin.com/p4jnbkgr (Only up through first stack overflow exception)

This time when trying with 3840x2160 it went to a black screen but never went to a menu or played music or anything else. The output log showed it doing something though it looked like it was looping through and endless list of Stake Overflow Exceptions.

I let it keep going for about 15 minutes and then terminated it; the log file was 115 MB when I was done. I kept but and it did spit out 2 unique errors I hadn't seen before:

RenderTexture.Create failed: width & height must be larger than 0

New Nvida Driver 378.92 but unfortunately it still crashes. It use to actually try and load now previously but now it just fails in seconds with a black screen before "Subnautica.exe has stopped working" dialog appears and Windows closes everything.....

    See you next month! :'(
