Hey Devs! With the Xbox Scorpio coming out this year and having drastically more powerful specs than the Xbox One, I was wondering if any sights were being set on having a high performance version of the game available for the Xbox One Scorpio.

I figured that it would be not too hard as you would just have to work with the high performance PC options like other developers are doing for the Pro and Scorpio.

From what I've heard, I think it could make you guys excited to be able to have your game look beautiful on console. Not that you guys aren't working on making it run well on the Xbox One currently, but there will be a lot more juice in that baby.

"According to the leaked document, Project Scorpio does not have ESRAM – the 32MB of super quick memory integrated with the Xbox One’s very processor.

ESRAM is an interesting hardware solution which helps developers cope with Xbox One’s memory size and speed limitations, but Scorpio is just going to have faster, better RAM instead – so there’s no need for this extra bit of help. According to the documents, Scorpio’s memory setup can easily outperform Xbox One, so nothing has been lost.

Developers will still need to optimise their games to support ESRAM, though, because the Xbox One can’t do without it – and Microsoft has said there will be no Project Scorpio exclusives.

This last part was interesting.. Im no programmer, but doesnt that mean happy times for cross-platform developers? :p

Also last thursday there was article about microsofts new Game Mode devs tool:
" It was recently reported that Windows 10 was getting a new Game Mode feature as part of a future update.

The feature ensures that power is directed to Windows 10 games rather than background apps. This makes your Windows 10 PC act more like a home console.
And according to a new Windows Central report, Game Mode will also benefit Xbox One Scorpio.

Built for the Universal Windows Platform, any Game Mode-enabled releases that support 4K on PC would make the transition to Xbox One Scorpio with little or no fuss.

In fact, any Game Mode releases could be ported from PC to Scorpio with 95% of its code intact.

The report suggests that the 4K textures used in the PC version of Resident Evil 7, for example, could be instantly unpacked on Scorpio.
