Ok, the default subnautica music is good, but I perfer other music. I will include links for people who are intrested. I listen to different songs at different points ingame.

    I like to listen to sounds such as "Julia" or "The Bloop" or my personal favorite is "galatic Star Cruiser White noise" really adds to the atmosphere

    None! I like to listen to, and appreciate, the ambient sounds of the game itself via headphones. Music just spoils it. I turn off the in-game music.

    I have not yet felt a need to listen to external music. Everything the game offers is amazing and if anything I'll put the Subnautica OST on when playing another game. I just don't want to miss any new music that is added to the game when it updates.

    Generally, I keep all music off and enjoy the ambient sound, but if I'm just doing industrial work, like seabase construction or a mining run with the PRAWN, I'll put on some music. Some favorites:

    Oh, that's different.

    And when you're in the PRAWN there's only one acceptable song.



    Edit: Actually given what we know about how Alterra works this song now seems pretty appropriate.

    I play with no music other than subnautica so i can hear stalkers and go kill them as well as the fact that the subnautica soundtrack is amazing soo.... however if im just base building or whatever something boring with no music i use my custom playlist on youtube

    I play with 1 o2 in my bar, with the monitor turned off so I can't see what I'm doing. My death count is 389.

    Yeah, I'm definitely a beginning player. To be honest, I modified the default O2 for the player to be 500 and normal tanks to be 1,000. I have the O2 warning set to 250, and... sadly, I still die. :-)

    scrub! i play the difficulty where you can only eat peepers to get food and they shoot lasers out of its giant eyeball and does AoE death! :dizzy:
