Hokay, here goes.

I often play Subnautica to relax. In so doing, I turn on several console cheat commands. Invisible, Oxygen...I don't cheat in resources because, heck, that's the fun of it, but I like being able to SCUBA on this gorgeous world without a stalker trying to take a bite out of my back bumper. Watch the Reapers swim in that graceful way they do, enjoy the stalkers playing with salvage bits...all of the stuff you can't do when you're running for your life.

So here's the question. With carar now a thing, is there a way to console it away? Cure, disable, I don't particularly care; I just want to be able to enjoy my alien swimming place without growing Rave Tumors.

    Just don't read past a certain point in the Communications storyline and don't Self scan, you should be fine for as long as you wish.

    Yes there is a way to console command it away: infect 1 0
    so thats: infect (space) 1 (space) 0

    that should cure you of it. the number 1 is for the radius of effect and the number 0 is for the stage of the infection

    0 = no infection
    1 = fully infected
    .1 or .2 or .3 all the way up to 1 are diff stages that gets you from a little infected all the way up to fully infected
