FYI UW, this site is claiming to be the official forum for Subnautica

Really? Because they do have a like to this site, labeled "Official Site," and I don't see a statement claiming that they're the official. It just looks like a third-party forum site. Did I miss something?

It's an Xbox site so it might be related to UWE somehow.

ok, I see what you mean, if you meant to say link. I misinterpreted what showed up on a google search.

I have gotten 20 hours of sleep in the last 5 days. School stress is literally killing me.

School stress? Oh dear! Wait until you're out in the big wide world where you'll meet everyday challenges like finding a job, buying a house, paying all your bills, paying taxes, stresses at work, making your money stretch when you have kids etc. School days are the easiest years of your life.

To be fair, how well you do in the school years can have a significant impact on how easy the rest of your life is (but that's not always necessarily true, your social network, to include your family, can also have an impact on that).

    Neither nice nor fair.

In hindsight, perhaps school years are easier. But think back to when you were going through them. Stressful as hell, weren't they? You're prepping for the rest of your life, to be able to do all the stuff you just listed. You have all the fun of a 9-to-5 job - bosses who keep changing their minds, insane deadlines, busywork for the sake of busywork - plus the added amusement of still figuring out who you are, where you feel you fit in society, and all kinds of other stressors. Sure, being in the workforce is a royal pain in the tweety - and, speaking as someone who's been a factory worker and a university lecturer, as well as points in between and outside, I've seen the spectrum - but going through school is no day at the beach.

I've no idea what university life in Sweden is like, but in the States...it'll drive you nanners sometimes. As we get older, though, we tend to remember more of the fun and less of the "I'm going to put my head through a wall" stress, that feeling of "if I screw this up, I'm going to total my entire life." We look at the past through rose-colored eyeballs.

Did I love the corporate life? Hell to the power of no. But was university life that much better? Not really, just different stresses.

No, I see exactly where @CaptainFearless is coming from and remember it vividly. I know I don't want those years back.

Stress begins when daily naptime ends in kindergarten, and doesn't go away until naptime returns after retirement...and sometimes not even then.

I always negotiated a daily naptime into every contract, before I had to retire due to disability. A lot of people looked askance at it, but when I was still plugging away at top speed up to and even a little past 5pm ( little = as much as four hours on occasion ) they started to see the light, and some even tried it for themselves.
