February update breaking some things, adjustment requests

So after the February 45367 Stable update, I've started a new game and I've been testing things out. I'm pleased overall with the state of the game so far but I've come across some issues that have freshly appeared, and I wanted to chime in my opinion with them.

1. Crabsnakes appearing randomly in the Safe Shallows and other areas: At first I was bothered by them showing up where they normally don't, but it makes sense as the entire area is covered in water, so they could conceivably show up in the Safe Shallows naturally. So while it is currently a mistake, I like it actually happening the way it is now.
2. The new "no delay when swapping tools" effect is breaking animations: I saw this posted on the Trello Roadmap before, and I couldn't understand why this was an issue originally. Maybe on PC it doesn't affect performance but it never bothered me before. Now when swapping tools, they disappear so fast it breaks immersion for me personally, but more importantly some animations are affected by it now. When first picking up the Purple Alien Artifact for instance, the player 'marvels' at the item for two seconds, then it mysteriously vanishes. However the worst thing is when using the Seaglide - if you're swimming in water and then walk onto land, if you put it away or swap tools your arms are stuck in the 'hold Seaglide' position. It looks incredibly awkward when you try to use tools this way (especially a flare). If you jump into the water again it fixes itself, but the issue happens often enough to be frustrating.
3. The Lifepod 5 has started driving itself around the ocean(?!): There have been issues before where the Lifepod would drift slowly, or in rare cases would disappear infinitely into the horizon, but this time it's new for me. I came back to the Lifepod in one playthrough to craft some items, and I noticed dully that beneath me were Reefbacks and a wreck... the Safe Shallows were gone. I climbed up on top of the pod and used F1 to confirm I was moving about 5 meters per second! I saved and quit to menu, then reloaded my game... the Lifepod was still moving. I then saved and quit completely, then deleted my cache folders in my save game and reloaded... the lifepod was still moving! I ended up deleting the save completely and starting over, and the Lifepod is once again stationary. As frustrating as this was, it made me realize that the Lifepod could be a valuable surface boat if allowed to move on its own - could we get mid-game tech to allow us to drive the lifepod, or at least attach it to the Seamoth and let us move it ourselves?

At any rate, this isn't a knock against the game or anything, just some observations I wanted to point out. Thanks for all the work that you do, and for such an incredible game experience! :)

I did some file deleting to get rid of the two stalkers that had taken up residence outside my base only to see them replaced with a crabsnake. :(

At least now I know that crabsnakes too can destroy a seamoth that's parked inside a moonpool. And because the crabsnake hangs around my seamoth it also kills any fish nearby that subsequently float up, so every once in a while I can collect dead fish from the moonpool pool.
