The Server Enforces A Consistency For Models/shell

The server enforces a consistency for models/shell.mdl
is the error message I get when I try to connect to any server, particulary, the ones that seem to be running adminmod. The problem started happening today and I don't know what caused it.
Another problem that I am having is that when NS crashes the gamma setting on my entire system changes and there is no way to chage it back other than restarting the system.

By the way I had to register a new account because the forums won't let me log on.

From the v1.03 patch notes (on the NS home page):

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Added support for model and sound consistency checking. If you run your server with mp_consistency 1, it will require that all NS models and sounds are unchanged from the distribution. This allows servers to disable custom models or sounds, and exploits that can result from them. This is currently disabled by default. If you have problems connecting to a server with an error like "server is enforcing file consistency on file X", then delete your custom models or try connecting to a different server<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
