Lifepod 6 doesn't have Rad suit

For the new release, I've just started a new Subnautica survival game. This time I'm trying to limit my gathering to what storage I have and focus on what I know are the key limitations, getting the initial mats and crafting the items I need, a small stock of rations and materials, and all the silver I can find (as that is the real initial limit along with blueprints).

So in the spirit of not crafting what I could find, I didn't craft a rad suit but waited until I got the message to investigate Lifepod 6. Headed out there. Found 2 PDAs and the Compass blueprint, but no rad suit.

Anyone else not finding the rad suit at Lifepod 6 ?

Is there anything in-game saying or suggesting that Lifepod 6 should have a spare rad suit available for our use?

I found one there in several previous games. Comrade Gamers' Season 5 game, started back in late December / early January, also found a rad suit at Lifepod 6 (see here). It jives with what I'd seen before, part of the suit just outside the Lifepod, part inside, but all pieces there. But not in my game started earlier today.

Yeah, but you never before found that compass recipe. Things have changed since last update; there's no items at lifepods anymore, but databoxes holding recipes.

It's for the better in case of the rad suit. Too many new players only noticed one or two pieces and then ended up confused the radiation still affected them.

I can see that, especially as the Rad Suit isn't a tough build. But then the Lifepod 6 message and ping text need to be changed, as both still mention a rad suit, especially the ping text.

There have been a TON of changes to the game. In one play through, I found:

    1. You didn't start with the radiation suit blueprint but had to find it.
    2. LIfepod 6 didn't have a complete radiation suit but instead had a data box with the radiation suit blueprint.

In fact, in the game I started just after that experimental version, I think I spent 24 hours game play scouring the ocean looking for the radiation suit blueprint in life pods and wrecks before finally noticing it had been added back as a "stock" blueprint at the start of the game. LOL!

As far a I know, you can't find it anywhere but can only get it by making it yourself.

That was done with the Solar Panel blueprint too. Back last year in August or earlier, it had frags that had to be found to unlock it (2 frags I think). I imagine what happened is that the Rad Suit and the Solar Panel are so fundamental to progress that they were changed to be known-at-start blueprints.

I do hope they change it insofar that I would be really happy to find something else in SS/KP boxes than the seaglide. There've been playthroughs that had me struggling to get the required two, but as many as there are now with no sense of surprise what a box will hold, it's boring. With the time it takes to get to a habitat builder, provided you don't rush it, finding solar panel fragments shouldn't add much barrier.
