Scanner Room List Scrolling

It's quite common to have more than 10 types of items in the Scanner Room list, which is in alphabetic order. However, once it's more than 10, you can't access the 11th one on. Which is really irritating when I want to scan for Sandstone.

Or is there a way to scroll the list I haven't been able to find?

    It is bugged. The only Scanner Room upgrade that seems to work is the HUD chip.

    There is a workaround that can help. If you save and load, the list starts getting filled but not just in alphabetic order. You can select later items in the list like Sandstone then, as they are detected before others.

    EDIT: Turns out just save and reload may not be enough. May have to save, exit the program, restart and reload.
