Need some save troubleshooting. Many game elements are missing due to skipped updates.

My survival world missed a few saves (particularly the ones where they added to the aurora and alien bases), decided to let the game develop for a bit. When I finally got back On, I decided to move all my materials to the cyclops and go the the Aurora to get the exosuit to continue along with the story. Only to find that all the items that are supposed to be in the Aurora is missing, no crates, no pdas, no nothing. at least inside the ship. And I'm assuming this is the same with the cannon and all the other alien objects. SO, is there a way to get all it back? I don't really care if I have to make a new world, Just as long as I can import my Cyclops with all its goodies in with it.

Is the game up to date? You can check in steam. The game might not be on the auto update setting
Anyway, hope you can find a fix

You can't expect to play on a save from ages ago and it still be compatible.

You'll have to start a new game.

You might be able to fix it by clearing caches, click here. I still recommend starting a new game.

Yeah, you can clear your caches, it can't hurt, as at this point the only other options is to lose everything. Do keep in mind some things might not work as intended though (like maybe events that were added after might not fire, or might fire at the wrong times).
