Glitch Glitch Lag Crash

I get my game to load and run for about a minute, the whole time its very glitchy. Then the game crashes and returns me
to the Xbox home screen. I'm using an Ethernet cable and I know it is not my Internet. I didn't have this problem untill I went exploring the gun turret. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game,it didn't help.

Could try cold booting the Xbox: from the Home screen, press and hold the power button on the front of the console, until the power brick goes amber (10 seconds I think). Then start it up. Post back if this helps (it may not, but it's about the only thing you can do on a console).

I've reset the Xbox. I even deleted all save files made the system recover from the cloud. It didn't help.
I'm almost 100% sure it is not a problem on my end.

Bleh. Try playing Creative for a bit. Does that fix it?

No, the lag and the glitching is still bad even in creative but it never crashed. I started a new game and it crashed.

Do other games have problems on your xbox, or just Subnautica? The only thing I can think is dust / blocked air ventilation, or a hard disk going bad (although Subnautica doesn't play the best on XBox, I can usually get it to behave at least in Creative mode).

Unfortunately Subnautica is not very optimized for the XB1 at the moment. Hopefully closer to release the devs will be able to focus more on performance. Currently they are more focused on finishing the game.

@hamburgerninja0 if you still have that savegame, use the dev console and warp 0 0 0 and hang around there always looking at the point you warped to.

I ereased all pre-update saves, started a New game, reached the lava castle. Having trouble saving, it takes like ten minute for the save icon to disapear, lagging so much, goes from à maximum of 20 fps to a 3 fps. As I enter the emperor prison, I start scaning the artefacts and the the game crashe, sending me to the xbox menu! I cant go further! Done it 6 times in a row ....Please help.

Cyclops disappears when docking prawn suit.... Can't deconstruct first aid on reinforced wall.
