Hey guys, I've been watching this forum for a while now as well as Subnautica, and since I've left Subnautica sitting in my Steam library, I've been wondering if my laptop can handle this game and so I've decided to make my first thread.
Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 Hz
RAM: 12gb
Graphics Card: AMD Raden HD 7600M Series
Thanks in advance, I've been wanting to play Subnautica for a while but my computer heated up quite a bit the last time I launched it.

Only way to really know is to try it.
Worse that can happen, is that it won't.
Then you'll have a really good reason to start saving up for a newer laptop.
< shrug >
(also, either way it'll still be in your STEAM account for future use)
My guess is that if you put settings on minimal, you should be able to run it, but lag is still likely when the world loads. Clear your cache.
I've decided to buy it no matter what the result is to support the game, and on my first run it seemed to go pretty well with the graphics on minimum with the occasional freezes.
How big is your hard disk? If you replace it with an SSD, that will help a *LOT* (and, you get about 10 second boot times. I mean booted and ready to run programs, too)
Samsung 850 EVOs are good. Mushkin ECO3s if you want a bit cheaper (but not quite as fast).
