I can't build anything

Has anyone been having trouble building bases like when you place a foundation a table is built instead and it still doesn't even get placed down if anyone else is having this bug please tell me and this is a subnautica xbox one bug.

Let me get this straight: Every time you attempt to build a foundation you instead build a table?

Also, do you have the prerequisite materials in you inventory and/or does your habitat builder have a charged battery?

Yes and yes it's all right I think it's just a bug.
