Compiling Map For Play

<div class="IPBDescription">How do I do this?</div> I've created a level, just a small test one, and I want to know how to compile it to distribute to my friends to test on. I know how to compile enough to test it on my own through Hammer Editor, but I'm not sure how to make it a stand-alone .BSP file. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

you would be better off with something a bit more pedestrian, like CS or HL..... their requirements are more flexible.
anyway, to answer this old quesiton, you need to compile. you have to get zoner's compile tools and set them up. i do not think that the qtools that come with WC/hammer are any good with NS.
during the compile you will run <i>in order</i>:
hlcsg
hlbsp
hlvis
hlrad.
