I was starting a new game in hardcore mod and this happened.

    I've gotten similar bugs reloading hardcore games where I had died. I don't remember how I did this, as you're not supposed to be able to, but that's what my lifepod looked like when the game loaded. Didn't have 2 though.

    weird i guess it just hardcore mod that has alot of bugs.
