lights from spotlights don't follow the movement of the spotlight while it moves

the light produced from the spotlight object does not follow the movement of the spotlight as it moves around, the light object faces the same constant direction. create new game in creative mode and build a spotlight to see this bug in action. don't know if anyone cares but i do

Are you playing in Stable or Experimental, and if the latter, what build number?

Stable.
It has existed for about a month or two before my first post which was June 28.

Can confirm that this is still a problem in Experimental Build #54886. Once constructed, the beam remains stationary while the spotlight rotates.
