Current version number?

Is there anywhere I can see what the latest version number is? Like, outside the game, some Official Source listing version/build numbers or something. I see people talking about version 50211, but on PC mine says 50038. Is that a difference between Experimental and Stable or something?

    It's not specific to what you want, but checkins is good to keep track of live development (experimental) and which number it's on + you can check the screenshots to see which builds are still relevant -- the lowest number is stable.
