All I am hearing lately in the new is Russian Hacking and North Korea missile launches - are we still a superpower? Our success as a nation is dependent on our education, but I am reading that our math scores lack far behind the Russians and Chinese.
This doesn't make sense, we have innovative learning technologies and programs, like Khan Academy, StudyPug Math or Math.com - shouldn't we be the best in the world in that too? Or is that the harbinger of the times to come as our next generation falls behind.
Is math score for our kids the beginning of the end of our dominance?
