How about this?

Hey everyone,

So, the Cyclops v creatures is still being tweaked, with the latest change removing the ability of attack from Bonesharks, Lava Lizards and Spine eels, but giving this ability to the Shocker as a replacement. This brought on a thought, what if we gave the Shocker a very small ability/trait to make it more interesting? The Shocker rarely gets attention, so how about when the Shocker attacks the Cyclops, it damages it per usual BUT gives the Cyclops a small amount of power back, say 3-5%? That would give some purpose and reason to the Shocker in my opinion. I'm sure this wouldn't take too long to implement, but it would be cool to see a Shocker attack your Cyclops, see bolts of electricity discharge from the Shocker and onto the Cyclops from where it attacked and sort of provide an overcharge of electricity to the Cyclops at the cost of some health.
Thoughts?
Cheers for reading

It would more likely EMP the sub or fry some circuit boards and this would make more sence from a gameplay perspective. Your idea would have player purposely ramming shockers for free energy.

Also the removal of damage from the bone shark is justified as they are plentiful where you would actually use the cyclops (mushroom forest, dunes, lavazone entrance) and amp eels are more exclusive to the koosh zone and blood kelp (the latter of which dontains the entr nice to the lost river. Finaly if you look at it realistically the boneshark spine eel and lava lizards are exclusive to biting (the lava lizard has its spit but I don't know if that damages the sub) while the amp eel would probably do electrical damage but the proper programming and effects aren't added yet.

People could just set up base near some shockers, in the Bulb Zone and just exploit the power it gives. They would probably never need to replace their batteries if they were determined.

Wait, what? When did they remove the Boneshark and Lava Lizard's attack on the Cyclops? I just spent part of today getting in and out of the damn thing to stab 'em to death!

What about a special upgrade for this?

Which version are you playing? That change is on Experimental. It's still the same on Stable until a new release.

They shouldn't remove the bones sharks ability to attack the cyclops. Or the Lavalizards or Spine eels either. It's going to make exploration to the Lost River and lava zones WAY to easy.
