Not much info to go off of. Can you upload the output_log.txt in the Subnautica_Data folder to here?
Not that I can exactly fix it but I just want to see.

Sorry, I will start a complete new game, and I have no folder of Subnautica Data, because the game broke during the first 2 seconds after klick the start button, and so, there are no folders. Sorry.
I'm pretty sure it's there. If it didn't exist, steam would've fixed it on the next update.
You said you're on mac, but regardless of the os, here's how to get to that file:
July, 20. a little Update about this morning. Nothing better.
Game crashes in the first second. After click the start button, the SN-Icon plops up in my Dock for a half a second and than it closes immediately.
Keep on the nice work.
Greetings
There is no output_log.txt, because the game crashes during the first 1-2 seconds. No file is written.
I will wait, until they fix it. See you ....
See if you can find a folder with a date on it in a UWE or Subnautica folder. Looks something like this (ignore the instructions, it's from another thread I made):
same here and I would really like to know why it's happening I've reinstalled the game twice now and still, it will not let me play on experimental mode

It will help if everyone having the issue posts about their system, is everyone on mac getting the issue? Are all of you getting the same "EarlyAccessWarning" message that Supchik mentioned? Are we using Oculus, Steam, or other?

Hey,
I have no "EarlyAccesWarning". What do you need? If you want, you can go over Taemviewer on my Mac and search for the problem. Tell me time, I will be here to give you access.
Once again, If I click on "Start Game", only 1 Sec. and the Game closes again. No warning, no message.
Now, I hope you will fix this soon.
I do use a Mac and I'm using Subnautica through Steam but it is as he said I try to start up the game and it only tries to launch for a second before it just shuts down no idea why
We know Mac build is broken on Experimental. This is due to the upgrade to the Unity 5.6 engine. We will of course, be fixing this but we're going a bit slow due to summer vacations and optimizations right now.
Stable is there to play on Mac OK. Remember guys, experimental will break from time to time. This is to be expected when you're on the bleeding-edge branch.

Do a search for output_log.txt Find the one stored in a directory with Subnautica or Unknown Worlds somewhere in it, and post that.

We're working on it, same as before.
