Looping base power alerts

Experimental build 53093: I had set up a small base in the Grand Reef, with one Thermal Plant and one MPR with a water machine in it.

I left the base alone for a while to let the water maker do its thing. I knew the base would run out of power eventually, which it did. When the thermal plant's power was drained, it generated a message that the base was on emergency power only. No big deal. When the thermal plant gained a point of power, the base power came back on, generating a message to that effect. And it kept doing this over and over while I gathered materials for a second thermal plant.

So I get back to the base and build another thermal plant and the power comes back on okay, but the messages don't go away. The original thermal plant kept gaining and losing that one point of power, so I deconstructed it... but the messages didn't go away. So I deconstructed the other one, and the messages didn't go away. I rebuilt them both, but the messages didn't go away.

I waited for the water machine to finish, and it did, but the messages didn't go away.

Quitting and reloading did the trick, but I figured I'd post about it.

Pretty sure this is not a bug, but a feature. When you get down to a point of power, the power cycles on and off faster than the messages can be played; too many of them creates a backlog, and an underpowered WFM will absolutely create an enormous one. That's why the messages kept playing even after the power problem was resolved. It's annoying as hell, and it's why I'm extremely conscientious about power when base-building.

Ahh, so you're saying that if I had just waited it out, the backlog would have cleared eventually? I dunno if I'd call that a bug, per se, but it's definitely something that needs tuning. Maybe something like how the new radio message alerts only come every few minutes. That could be food.
