Performance Issues With Specific Items

I haven't really played Subnautica that much during last couple of months, just jumped here and there in between updates to check out the new stuff that has been added to the game, teleported to new locations and similar things.. not really properly played it in survival mode. I got a bit bored and started a new Survival. Then I noticed that when holding or using specific items my FPS dropped significantly. Since I have nothing better to do in my life, I decided to test this out. It could be just me, but I wanted to share my results and see what other community members can add to it.
My System Specs: Intel i5 4440 3.1GHz, R9 280 3GB, 16GB DDR3, Game running on SSD.
FPS when playing is between 40-110 depending on whether am I in mushroom forest or in dunes.
Tried multiple different drivers (I am always on latest), vsync on/off, underclocked and overclocked my GPU to see if there will be different results (results were same).
So here are my results (brand new save, creative, items held inside multipurpose room, outside multipurpose room (in kelp forest) and while moving:
Flashlight - no difference in FPS, when turned on, drops for about 1-2 fps, probably lighting.
Knife - no difference in any situation.
Mobile Vehicle Bay - had no difference in FPS while holding it, swimming, releasing it, having one released and other one in my hand. Absolutely no difference.
Builder - no impact on FPS whatsoever (not tested while building)
Light Stick - 1-2 FPS, probably because of lighting.
Scanner - no difference, not even while scanning.
Peeper - no difference (other fish not tested)
Air Bladder - no difference in FPS except during deflating animation, FPS dropped by about ~10 FPS during those 2 seconds.
Those items made little to no difference to my FPS. These, however:
Stasis Rifle - just holding it inside empty multipurpose room resulted in FPS drop from 95 to 65 which is insane.
Propulsion Cannon - dropped ~25 FPS.
Repulsion Cannon - same as Propulsion, ~25 FPS.
Repair Tool - FPS reduced by ~20.
Laser Cutter - FPS reduced by ~20.
(same conditions as above, holding, swimming, using; fps would go back to normal once i remove an item from my hand or pull out another one, for example a knife.
And for the worse part, vehicles:
Seaglide - about 20 FPS drop just by holding it. Doesn't matter where I am at the moment (inside base, travelling).
Seamoth - exactly same as Seaglide, standing in position while in seamoth will reduce my fps by 15-20. Even after everything loads fps does not go back.
Prawn Suit - same as Seamoth.
Cyclops - standing in the front, looking outside, not driving, no FPS drops. In Driving mode even when not moving, FPS drops by ~12.
Vehicles do not drop overall fps when they are created, no matter if you are looking at them or not. Except Cyclops, but only a little.
Interesting part is that fps will drop no matter the condition, whether my FPS is 50 or 110 it will drop by ~20 while just holding an item.
Also, GPU load was the same, with and without FPS drops, which is kinda surprising. Used about 1800 MB of VRAM out of 3GB.
If really needed, I could create a video, but it would take a while...
It could be just me, or it could be everyone, results can also vary by stronger or weaker GPU resulting in bigger or lesser FPS drop.
Sorry for my grammar, English is not my native language.
What are your thoughts on this?

UPDATE:
Tested all fishes in the game right now that can be held, only Floater caused my FPS to drop by ~15, which is a lot.
Tested FPS impact using different fins, no difference there.
Active PDA does not increase FPS but certain pages do, for example, Inventory page did not drop any FPS until i filled it with items. More items -> bigger FPS drop. At full inventory lost about 3-8 FPS (constantly fluctuates). Blueprint page however (with all blueprints unlocked/ creative) FPS dropped by 15-20 FPS. Other pages had no impact. New items "mark" drops fps, depending how many new items you got in your inventory. Full inventory of new items produced a drop of about 7-8 FPS until "mark" disappeared. Item tooltips made my FPS drop by 2-3.
Stasis Rifle "Energy Ball" or whatever it's called made no difference in FPS.
- Tested multiple times on different new saves and locations.

Also, can you edit main post, was gonna put this in main post with some kind of "updated" or "edit" tag but don't know how to edit.
Hit the gear at the top-right of your post and hit edit. You might have to wait a bit for the spam lock, I'm not sure. If that's the case, (likely, you only have 8 posts to your name) just page @Foxy and ask nicely to have your new content merged with the OP.
