Another little nod to SN in my webcomic.

Since I'm a fairly big fan of the game, I decided to put at least one reference in. Here it is.

He has a precursor weapon on his back, complete with precursor letters.
I'm a big fan of the precursor building style, so I might hide a few original more precursor- made artifacts around.
And yes, his goggles are a nod to Portal.

If you want me to remove this, I will. Just let me know.

What's a web comic and where can I see an example of one?

A web comic is a comic on the web. Just search: "Stand still. Stay silent" without the quotes, That's quite an awesome webcomic.

Or in my sig. That's one.

You should hyperlink that link in your sig, as well as the image in your OP, to go to your webcomic. Like so:

Honestly if you just put [url][/url] tags around Kumacomics.com in your sig that should work I think.

Don't forget to add a link to your fanfic thread as well once that's started.

I'd like to throw a few mentions into the ring as well:

    1. Nerf Now!!: A great webcomic that started out focused on nerfing overpowered matchups in Team Fortress 2, but has expanded its scope to covering weird videogame logic and trends in gaming, as well as featuring the cutest group of girls ever. It is my all-time favorite webcomic now!
    2. Megatokyo: What happens when two otaku take an unplanned trip to Tokyo but have no money to return home? This comic is a great take otaku culture and video games, and throws in a dash of magical girls, kitsune, zombies and terrorizing monsters.
    3. The Wotch: Two best friends are curious about a new student, who seems to not be a magical witch, but is indeed the legendary Wotch! Magical hinjinks ensue as the trio encounter various adventures while trying to prepare for a sinister evil. Despite the changes over the years (see spoiler), I feel it's still a good webcomic.
The Wotch has had a bit of a storied past; the early comics are a bit rough but the artist Anne did vastly improve her skill by the fifth story arc, but the comic went dark for nearly three years during "The Most MOST Dangerous Game", for reasons not publicly known. They had a few guest story arcs in that time, but the the comic finally came back online with the original colorist Robin continuing the story. They have a new artist drawing the comic, as well as a more stable (if a lot slower) upload schedule. The newest change is unfortunately noticeable, but I feel the heart of the comic is mostly intact regardless.
    4. Instant Classic: Another great webcomic I love, but this time it focuses on movies and filmmaking. Two indie filmmakers explore their passion for their craft, while trying to avoid being run over by modern technology forever changing the medium they love. The story originally focused on a small group of people, but the next ark introduced new elements to the story, as well as poking fun at various clichés and tropes in movies. It unfortunately went on indefinite hiatus near the end of "The Brothers Donovan", and has been unfinished for over four years - regardless, it is still enjoyable.
    5. 8-Bit Theater: This is a sprite comic based on the original Final Fantasy I... How would the game have played out if the four Heroes of Light weren't the benevolent people everyone thought they were? Throw in some interesting plot twists and nods to other video games and gaming tropes, and you have a pretty entertaining comic. The webcomic has since ended, but it's always a good read.

So those are the ones I have at the top of my bookmark list, I would recommend them for anyone to enjoy!
