Exploit or valid tactic?
Gorges building "walls of lame" (2/3 levels of OC+DC) for extra hitting power is nothing new.
Now lately commander are discovering that they can do the same; turret factories built on top of resource towers for example (so that Skulks can't reach them) are becoming more common.
Is this good or evil?

To me, it doesn't really matter if the Aliens stack their defenses up or not, because whether there is a few OCs side-by-side or half a dozen stacked on top of eachother, i still won't bother taking them out unless i have a GL or a HMG + a few team mates.
Ak.
I´ll post some screenshots if i get them.
Also what is the use of a turret on top of a TF? Putting your Tf on top of the Res Tower is a much better tactic.

If you look carefully you will see a turret factory ontop of the marine resource tower which you get automatically on caged... you will also see a turret ontop of this

My 2 cents.
speially with aliens, if they are stacked too high onos and fade may have trouble getting by and be a big waste of resources.. (think redemption)

Stacking a TF on a RT may be an advantage if floor space is tight, but its never stopped me from killing them as a skulk. If anything, I find it easier since it blocks more fire. I stand under the RT, and bite the TF where it sticks out. When marines try to hide behind the stack, from me when I'm a fade, I just acid rocket the ceiling. Splash is my friend.
Best reason to stack as an alien, concentration of fire and healing. Stacking def chambers means you can get more chambers healed in the same area.
I stack. I don't consider it an exploit. If the devs have stated otherwise, post a link. They stated the ready room F4 resource exploit was an exploit, but I haven't seen any comments from them to say that stacking is.

Not anymore.
Totally legal.
