Bottom of void myths? BUSTED

So recently (I start every forum post with that) I heard about these oh theres a bottom to the void myths and I've busted them. I hopped into creative went to the void set speed to 5 and went down at around 2000 meters I found the "bottom". What it actually is is a part of the void that goes out a bit then turns into just a block of rock texture for the rest of the way so I would include screen shots but for some reason I only have 2 screenshots that are from a year ago my screenshot button is P and so I'd expect 200+ screenshots but steam is glitching out so you'll have to wait for evidence thats more then some nerds forum post.

The void has always been endless for as long as I've had the game (over 2 years now). In creative mode, it's not difficult to swim down the side of the terrain using a seaglide to discover that the entire game world is a floating island in the middle of an endless void. There's screenshots on these forums from people who jumped in an exosuit and let it fall all night into the void to over 100,000m, and IGP has a recent video that shows the bottom of the terrain at around 3000m.
