Why can't I disable the Crosshair?

Yes, I've tried F6 and that's just not good enough. Why should I have to turn off my entire Hud because of an annoying circle dot in the middle of my screen. Hope we get an option or even console commands to disable this, so far there are no methods or ways to disable this.

Disable the crosshair? Why? It's not all that intrusive.

You could probably dig around through the game's files until you find the asset with the crosshair, which you can then just replace with a transparent image. Probably.

However, it should be trivial to implement an option to switch this off, I'd think (ha!).

It reminds me of the old Bionic Man series eye crosshair. The only reason you'd want that is if you were using it to target something, otherwise it's just in the way.

I would like the option to disable it as it hinders immersion, especially in VR.
