Issue exiting menues

So while using a controlers and driving Seamothes or PRAWNs or Cyclopes if I open either the pause or PDA menus and then pressing B to exit the menus I instead exit the vehicle in the game. If the game is designed no to allow the B button the exit the menus for some reason (since nearly all games allow it) that'd be okay, but I shouldn't be able to interact with the game while in a menus by getting out of my seamoth while trying to check my PDA and especially when the game should be paused. I can't tell you how many times how many time where after this glitch dropped me out my seamoth and for me killed especially with the PDA since as I'm panicing to get out of the PDA creatures keep attacking me and kill me before I can switch to my knife or seaglide or while paused exiting my moth full speed, and exiting the menu to watch it speed away and leave me to the mercy of a reaper.

Pressing 'B'? You press Tab to close the PDA-- oh, wait. You're on an XBox, aren't you. Perhaps you should post in that section of the forums.

...on the off chance you're using a PC with a controller, I believe in the Options menu there's a way to remap the controls.

I use the controller with my pc. And I tried that but whatever i map it to it has the same effect
