Currently in Experimental, there's a minor irritating bug that when you get a new info page in your PDA, when you open your PDA it will always show that page, no matter what page or tab you closed the PDA on. I've put in a couple of F8 reports on it.

But that's the sort of thing you can encounter. As well as issues as UWE tunes things like where frags are and where resources are.

How does one check the current build (I'm using stable 55670) and play the current build?

If there's no updates on steam you have the latest stable, if you switch to experimental its the same concept, no updates on steam=you have the latest version

Right-click Subnautica in Steam > Properties > "Betas" tab > select "experimental" instead of "NONE".
