Subnautica has been wonderful. 4546B, or Salacia (Roman Queen of the Sea) as I like to call it, has been a great home. But now its time to go back to my real home. But not without tying up all loose ends first.
1. Starting at the deep, Im sealing off the entrance to the Lava Castle, as well as the all the teleporters leading to the Castle, so that our Empress may rest in peace, undisturbed...
2. Up in the Lost River, its only fitting to build a tomb for the heroic Mother Dragon that died for her children's freedom...
3. Ascending further, making one final salutory visit to the Degasi Base in the Grand Reef, to honour those brave souls who would not make it off this planet...
4. Back on the surface, one last visit to the honourable Lifepod 5, who risked its own life to deliver me safely to the surface after the Aurora crash...
5. And now, at ground zero, I say at last goodbye to the machines and base that helped me tame this planet. Goodbye to the People that stood by my side, when no one else would...
6. And finally, the message I will leave behind to Salacia's future visitors:
Greetings, fellow intelligent being.
If you have found this time capsule, then you are surely on this planet, by my species records known as 4546B. But I have given it a proper name. Salacia, from one of my species' many mythologies. The Queen of the Ocean. Now, I crashed here due to the now deactivated weapons platform. It responded to a quarantine procedure initiated by ancient aliens. They left or died on this planet. I cured it. There is no further risk of infection.
But mark my words, if you do anything to damage this planet's wildlife in a grand manor, my spirit will return to this world and direct all forces, natural and artificial, to exact vengence upon thee. Same thing if you do anything malicious to the alien structures present. Take this not as a threat, but a warning. Even though this planet did nothing but try to kill me during my stay here, I gained huge respect for it. Further, I fell in love with it.
And one day, I will return...
