Playing on Stable or Experimental

My Windows 10 computer borked itself on Tuesday and I only managed to fix it on Thursday. So my starting a new post-release Subnautica game got delayed.
Prior to release, I was playing Experimental so I could see the various fixes and adjustments as soon as possible. I've left Subnautica on Experimental and I'm seeing a new release every day still.
I had heard that at least for a while, the game ending still wasn't available on Experimental. Don't know if that's changed. Can anyone confirm one way or another?
Otherwise, I've got to make up my mind whether to play on Experimental or have Steam reload the game to Stable. So I thought I'd ask around and see what everyone else is doing.
