Visual Bug in new update

Now, I'm not sure if this is just my save file or what. But I just downloaded the new update, and I suddenly realized that when I have no tool selected, these bubbles and what appears to be smoke would appear in front of me.

I think they are supposed to be air bubbles, but they are only visible in bright light (this includes the sun). They are even visible in seabases and on islands.

This really annoys me. Does anybody else have this problem?

This may be a problem with visual corruption or an old save. Try re-installing the game (after backing the save up) and start a new game.

If it's fixed, re-insert the save and try. If that's broken, your save is screwed.

If it didn't work on re-install, idk what to tell ya.

A recent thread indicates a connection to the thermoblade, and may be fixed by moving the thermoblade to storage and back out.

iim not sure if i post this here but i am not having any issues with the tool selection but i am having issues with a wreck in the bulb zone not appearing and missing pda's
