Game won't correctly close itself.

Long story short, after I select "Exit" in the Main menu I do exit but Steam still reports that I am in the game, I get card drops, people can watch my broadcast (nothing is shown, though) and I cannot exit Steam or launch Subnautica again without killing Steam.exe process first. There is no Subnatica.exe process to kill as well after I quite the game.
Happens every time I close the game.
